GMS Checkerplate

Mascot Engineering manufacture a range of hot dipped Galvanised Mild Steel (GMS) Covers to suit our GRC Pits. These GMS lids are often the default selection for Electrical Cable and Communications Pits as they offer security and easy access.

Checkerplate Covers are stocked in Class A, B and C – Class D and heavier can be manufactured if needed. Checkerplate is ideal for pedestrian areas given its natural slip resistant finish and can be supplied with a boltdown and padlockable option as well as keyhole covers to stop the ingress of unwanted objects.
