Trade waste must be cooled prior to discharge into the sewer system. Mascot Engineering’s precast Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) Cooling Pits are commonly used in laundries. From a local laundrette and aged care facility to large scale commercial and industrial laundries and any other application where the discharge is to be cooled – Mascot’s Cooling Pit is ideal.

Please refer to your local water authority for information on sizing for your application. It is also recommended you review the Mascot Dry Basket Arrestor (AD19) which is designed to collect lint and other solids from entering the cooling pit. A removable stainless steel basket is available for fitment to all the below cooling pits.
