Stainless Steel Heelproof Grates
Mascot Engineering’s Heelguard Stainless Steel grating can be used for any number of applications, both internally and externally.
Stainless Steel Wedgewire grating aids water flow while reducing the chance for unwanted debris from entering the drain due to its unique ‘V’ shaped wire. Most grates have a minimum 50% opening and can be manufactured in 304 and 316 grade stainless steel.
Below you’ll find details of the grates that simply drop-in to the rebate of our GRC Pits. All the below can be supplied complete in a stainless steel frame as well as custom sizes and loadings.

Notes
- All grates are manufactured to suit Mascot GRC Pit rebate only (25mm x 25mm).
- Grade 304 and 316 Stainless Steel available – in accordance with AS1204 from Grade 250 structural steel.
- Drop-in grates are available in Class A, B or C only. Not all loadings available in all sizes. For higher loadings, a frame may be required. Please confirm requirements with our technical team, an indication on loadings is in the below chart.
