Link Pits
Typically installed in conjunction with a precast Coreworx Joint Bay, a Link Box Pit is an enclosure designed specifically to house link boxes.
Sizes of Link Pits vary, though generally require 150mm – 200mm internal clearance around the link box and are at least 700mm deep complete with conduit entries for bonding leads.
Most specifications call for a Class D (load rating specified in AS3996) access cover with lifting key holes as specified in the same Australian Standard. All Coreworx Link Pits are provided with a Mascot Engineering iron access cover that is equipped with the appropriate lifting keyholes and tested to the loads specified in AS3996 to Class D (unless a different load rating is stated).
Below you’ll see some examples of Coreworx Link Pits.
