Upper Mt Gravatt State School has recently completed a new General Area Learning Facility after destruction caused to the school by a fire in June 2019.

Unfortunately the fire destroyed major parts of the school, as well as books, artworks and other possessions of over 200 students. The school and the community reacted immediately. New temporary structures were quickly installed, and class resumed within days of the fire, so there was minimal disruption to learning.

The new Learning Facility includes a two story building which houses four prep classrooms, six General Learning Areas, a staffroom and amenities. Mascot Engineering supplied a series of GRC Cable Pits, Concrete Covers in Class C, and Paver Infill Cover products in Class B to service the power needs of this new Learning Facility.

All Mascot Engineering products are manufactured in accordance with AS3996:2019, and are available in Class A to Class G Load Ratings.
