Award winning project featuring Mascot GRC Planters
Ian Moore Architects has converted an old inner Sydney warehouse to a stunning family home and office. The adaptive repurpose of the industrial building in Sydney’s Redfern maintains the original exterior, however internally the building has been reconfigured whilst retaining its industrial feel to create a light filled oasis for the family.
A large circular Mascot GRC Planter features in the top floor outdoor space in its raw concrete finish complimenting the surrounding landscaping. Mascot GRC planters are approximately 1/10th the weight of traditional steel reinforced concrete planters making them ideal for rooftops, terraces and verandas.
What was once a Vegemite factory, this new home has won numerous architecture and interior awards and we’re sure there are many more to follow.
