Signals Pits & Covers

The Glenfield to Leppington Rail Line is an 11km passenger rail line between Glenfield Junction and the new train stabling yard in Leppington in South West Sydney.

Proven on numerous rail projects across Australia, Mascot Engineering’s GRC Cable Pits with non-slip galvanised mild steel padlockable (security) checkerplate covers were selected by John Holland for use in the $550m design and construct package.  The South West Rail Link project included construction of two new passenger stations (Leppington & Edmondson Park) and the Mascot GRC Rail Pits and covers were used as Signals Pits in the rail stabling yard.
