Australia’s first custom-built animal rehoming centre will be located at Glendenning in Sydney’s west.
The Blacktown Animal Rehoming Centre (BARC) is a $30M project that replaces Blacktown Council’s 40yr old existing animal holding facility.
The BARC will be the largest facility of its type in the Southern Hemisphere, and will house 135 dog kennels, 230 cat condos, staff rooms, vet facilities, and exercise yards.
