DFO South Wharf required a barrier system to protect pedestrians and customers. The intention was to provide a non-intrusive security system that provided a pleasant aesthetic to the shopping experience. The perfect solution was to conceal the bollards in a series of Mascot GRC Planter Boxes placed strategically around the venue.

A series of large Mascot GRC round and rectangular Planter Boxes were placed around the entrance and along footpath areas providing greenery to the location. These were chosen due to their strength and versatility. Mascot GRC is the perfect resilient, yet lightweight solution for such applications. The Planter Boxes were easily manoeuvred on site, and the installing contractor was able to simply create the desired entries to the base of the Planters using a simple quick knock method.
