The iconic Anzac Bridge in Sydney is an integral piece of road infrastructure connecting the inner west to the CBD.
Along its shared pedestrian and bicycle pathway you’ll find Mascot Engineering Plastic Cable Pits used to house the cabling for the streetlights.
Mascot Engineering’s Plastic Cable Pits with drop-in concrete lids can be found across Australia. Used for Communications, Electrical and NBN cabling installation they’re light, durable and are available in a range of industry recognised sizes (and they’re Telstra approved).
The concrete Class A lids are slip-resistant and bicycle-safe, ensuring the safety of cyclists and pedestrians while providing appropriate access to underground services.
By using Mascot Engineering’s innovative solutions, the project was able to meet safety and durability requirements while seamlessly integrating into the bridge’s urban landscape.
