With resort like facilities, The Catalina apartments take design inspiration from South Beach Miami’s Art Deco buildings to a central location on Chevron Island.
The development features Mascot Engineering’s GRC DriveDrain paired with the traditional heavy duty iron grating. Mascot’s lightweight Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) channel systems are heavy duty like steel reinforced concrete, though lighter and easier to handle like plastics and polymers without running the risk of shattering or moving over time.
The traditional ductile iron grate and frame is an ideal long term low fuss solution. These particular grates have longitudinal bars (bars running the length of the grate) allowing water to be captured quickly whilst being bicycle safe and slip proof.
